Deep calls to deep

So many people in this world are searching.

Searching for something to finally satisfy.

This search comes from this deep hole we’re all created with. A deep void that was only ever meant to be filled by one thing, Jesus Christ.

The problem is, we’re searching in the shallow end. We weren’t made for the shallow end. Nothing shallow will satisfy what was created for the deep.

“Deep calls to deep” Psalm 42:7

David calls to the One that satisfies, the deep void in me, calls to the deep fullness of You.

The deep hole in me, calls to the deep abundance of You.

Be encouraged, your thirst can be quenched.

Your search can stop at the feet of Jesus.

Your cup will overflow. Psalm 23:5.
